1. Overview

      Vacuum filter is widely used for the dehydration in starch, medicine, food, chemical engineering and other industries. The equipment is made of high grade stainless steel with a frequency controlled rotary drum. The cleaning is interval and automatic. 



2. Structure and principle(with picture)

      Vacuum filter is comprised of frame, major axis, electric motor, retarder, input connection, filter gallery, overflow pipe, recycle connection, agitator, washing water inlet, pneumatic scraper, vacuum tube connection, inspection manhole, rotary drum, agitator electric motor, filtration cloth and so on.

 

      The surface of the rotary drum is covered with a layer of filtration fabric with a certain mash size. The solid starch in the starch slurry can not pass through the filtration fabric and thus stay at the surface of the drum where the pneumatic scraper scratch it out. It drops into the belt conveyor and then turn to the next working procedure.

      The equipment is made of high grade stainless steel with an adjustable rotary speed in the drum. The cleaning of the drum applies interval automatic washing. There is paddle type agitator in the filter gallery to prevent the sedimentation of the starch.

      The equipment is stable, compact, high efficient with a low energy consumption.

 

3. Advantage:

Hollow structure of the dehydration drum ensuring uniform stability and lower moisture content of dehydrated materials can save energy consumption of the drying section

The bottom of bearing is connected with a unique oil pan, ensuring higher hygiene requirements

The integral structure of vacuum tank and vacuum pump can save installation space and time
