SynBalance® ProBeautyShield is a probiotic complex designed for skin health composed by: L. plantarum - PBS067, L. rhamnosus LRH020 and L. reuteri PBS072. Their selection comes from a priori in-vitro screening on the modulation of the immune response, through the downregulation of pro-inflammatory and the upregulation of anti-inflammatory cytokines, together with their strong antimicrobial activity against skin pathogens. L. plantarum - PBS067, L. rhamnosus LRH020 and L. reuteri PBS072 have been then clinically tested in two randomized double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trial, underlining a positive effect in subjects with atopic or acneic skin with visible results only after 28 days.
