PQQ is pyrroloquinoline quinone, which is the third redox coenzyme discovered after flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+). Its disodium salt form of PQQ, pyrroloquinoline quinone disodium salt, is stable and is easily soluble in water. PQQ is the active molecule with the strongest ability to catalyze redox reactions, and can complete 20,000 redox cycling, which is 5,000 times that of vitamin C. PQQ is an essential nutrient for the human body. It has the functions of removing free radicals, anti-aging, promoting growth factors, maintaining and producing mitochondria, and protecting nerves and hearts.
